Region Championships Medal Feast

Our throwers did us proud at the recent Little Athletics | Region (7) Championships. The Campbelltown Collegians athletes returned home with a swag of medals from the meet. Ashton Taeiloa claimed two Gold Medals, winning the U8s Shot Put with a new personal best of (8.68m) and the U8s Discus also with a new PB of (24.28m).

National junior shot put champion Venita Mailei won Gold in the U17 Girls Shot Put with a new region record (14.87m) and she also claimed the Gold Medal in the U17 Girls Discus with a new Region Record of (41.88m).

Nicole Pili claimed Silver in the U17 Girls Shot Put with (10.27m) and she also claimed the Silver Medal in the U17s Girls Discus with (38.72m).

Chaise Attard threw (30.64m) in the U10 Boys Discus to claim the Silver Medal, and he also won a Bronze Medal in the U10 Boys Shot Put with a best of (7.96m).

Jaxon Taeiloa claimed the Silver in the U10 Boys Shot Put with (10.66m) and a Bronze Medal in the U10 Boys Discus with (29.97m).

Daniel Bugeja won a Silver Medal in the U9 Boys Discus with a best of (22.58m) and he placed 4th in the U9 Boys Shot Put with (6.74m).

Squad new-comer Reki Roberts claimed Silver in the U9 Girls Shot Put with a new personal best of (5.72m).

Amelia Morgan took home Bronze after placing third in the U12 Girls Shot Put with a new personal best (11.24m). Amelia placed 5th in the U12 Girls Discus with (27.67m).

Unitty Ta’uo placed 4th in the U13 Girls Discus with a best of (34.21m) and she also placed 4th in the U13 Girls Shot Put with (9.35m).

Christopher Bugeja placed 5th in the U12 Boys Discus with a best of (28.31m).
